LiIO3 lithium iodate crystals are often used for frequency conversion of mid- and low-power Ti:Sapphire,Emerald, Cr:LiSrAlF6 Cr:LiCaAlF6 lasers, and LiIO3 and lithium iodate crystals are also used for second and third harmonic generation of Nd:YAG lasers, autocorrelators for measuring the width of ultrashort pulses.
